2nd Place Winner: Coding Agent Calls Developer to Pitch Launch Strategy

Transcript

[00:01] Okay, so I’ve asked Claude to go ahead
[00:03] with um finishing a project and the
[00:06] positioning for a company called Tempo.
[00:08] And I’ve told it I want to go for a
[00:10] walk. I don’t want to be at the computer
[00:12] and to call me only if it reaches a
[00:14] point decision that it can’t decide. So
[00:17] it’s going to lot lodge it’s going to
[00:19] launch the AFK skill, which will give it
[00:22] a matrix to escalate it only on
[00:24] decisions that are non-reversible that
[00:27] it can’t decide on its own.
[00:31] You can see that it’s read through all
[00:32] the briefs and it’s going to go ahead
[00:33] with the tasks that it can do itself
[00:36] without having to bring in a human in
[00:37] the loop.
[00:41] So it’s finished all of the parts that
[00:42] it can do on its own and then now it’s
[00:44] got it’s gotten to a point where it’s at
[00:46] a genuine fork in the road that needs a
[00:47] human decision. So it’s going to follow
[00:49] the skill matrix and the escalation in
[00:51] the skill and it’s going to bring up a
[00:55] draft up a decision card so that when it
[00:57] calls you and ask for your input, it’ll
[00:59] give you options and recommendations
[01:01] rather than just a generic what do you
[01:04] want to do now.
[01:05] And because it this is not just a
[01:07] reporting agent, but it’s more of a code
[01:09] development agent, when it calls you,
[01:11] you can ask it questions about the
[01:12] project and get information and have a
[01:16] discussion around it before deciding
[01:18] making a decision.
[01:19] And the other thing you can see here,
[01:21] it’s also checking. The first time you
[01:23] launch the skill, it’s going to ask you
[01:25] what your working hours are so that
[01:27] if this is in for example an overnight
[01:29] build, it’s not going to call you in the
[01:31] middle of the night.
[01:37] So you can see it’s building the
[01:38] decision uh card and now it’s making a
[01:41] call and we should hear the phone ring
[01:42] any second now.
[02:19] >> I’m Echo, your coding assistant working
[02:21] on Tempo in Cloud Code. We’re at a fork
[02:24] in the road and I need your decision.
[02:26] Tell me when you’re ready.
[02:27] >> Okay, go ahead.
[02:30] >> It’s time to decide the launch page hero
[02:32] angle for this week’s campaign.
[02:34] Option A, lead on value. Option B, lead
[02:37] on price.
[02:38] I’d recommend option A because it’s the
[02:40] open ground customers actually buy on
[02:42] and we can use the concrete $12 price as
[02:45] the believability anchor instead of the
[02:47] headline.
[02:48] The honest risk is that value could read
[02:50] like hype to a trust skeptical audience.
[02:52] So, we’d need to headline the mechanism
[02:54] and anchor with the real price to keep
[02:56] it grounded. What’s your call?
[02:58] >> So, if we lead on value, give me if we
[03:00] decide to lead on price, what is what
[03:02] are the risks involved with that?
[03:06] >> Leading on price now risks a price war
[03:08] with a big incumbent that can outspend
[03:10] us and the affordability gap that made
[03:12] it compelling has basically collapsed
[03:14] after their entry to your cut.
[03:16] So, it becomes a harder switch story and
[03:18] we’d be fighting on their strongest
[03:20] terrain instead [clears throat] of ours.
[03:22] So, what’s your call?
[03:23] >> Okay, that makes sense. I agree with
[03:25] you. Let’s lead on value, but because
[03:26] we’re launching soon, I want to put a
[03:29] I want to put a monitor on this and
[03:31] circle back to this in 7 days and just
[03:33] do an assessment on it.
[03:37] >> Locking it in. Decision approved. We’ll
[03:40] lead on value.
[03:42] I hear the follow-up to monitor and
[03:44] revisit in 7 days and I’ll hand that to
[03:46] your assistant. Anything else before I
[03:47] let you go?
[03:48] >> Nope, that’s it.
[03:51] >> Perfect. Thanks so much. Have a great
[03:53] afternoon.
[03:58] >> Okay, so now that the call is over, you
[03:59] should see the decision pulled from the
[04:02] call and any follow-ups recorded in the
[04:05] session with a follow-up task.
[04:14] So you can see here the skill will make
[04:17] everything transparent, so it’s not just
[04:18] lost within the actual transcript and
[04:21] within Vocal Bridge itself. The call is
[04:23] there. It’s going to record the
[04:25] decisions that are made on the call, so
[04:27] that it’s it’s within the actual project
[04:29] itself. So if you come back to the
[04:30] project, you don’t have to revisit that
[04:33] decision again.
[04:38] And you can see this is what shipped is
[04:40] leading on value
[04:42] and the action is to follow up in 7 days
[04:45] and that that’s written up as a task.
[04:49] Okay, so let’s say that I’m done. I’ve
[04:50] come back from my walk. I can say AFK
[04:53] back. I’m back at the computer to let
[04:55] Claude know. And then what will happen
[04:57] is it’ll do provide a summary
[05:00] of what happened during the session, as
[05:02] well as any decisions that were made on
[05:03] the call and any items that need to be
[05:06] followed up on.
