[00:00] looking to create or launch an online
[00:02] course in 2025 you are in the right
[00:05] place I am breaking down what has
[00:07] changed since 2024 and what trends I see
[00:10] coming in 2025 so let’s dig in the first
[00:14] Trend that I see coming in online
[00:16] courses is really this renewed focus on
[00:19] outcome based programs something that
[00:22] really shifted in 2024 is people want
[00:26] results people want outcomes people want
[00:28] to shorten the distance point a and
[00:30] point B which is why we create courses
[00:32] in the first place right but what ended
[00:35] up happening was the market got flooded
[00:38] with these convoluted really messy like
[00:41] notp specific outcome programs and
[00:44] people stopped getting results and that
[00:46] meant that people stopped trusting that
[00:48] courses would actually get them results
[00:50] so instead of having this amalg like not
[00:54] really clear outcome people are
[00:56] purchasing shorter term outcome Focus
[01:00] courses so rather than having like a 12
[01:03] month program that has like an elusive
[01:07] like become your best self in 12 months
[01:10] like that is not outcome focused
[01:12] necessarily what people are really
[01:14] buying is shorter term tangible outcome
[01:17] focused courses so teach me something
[01:21] help me do something take me from point
[01:23] A to point B and do it as quickly as
[01:24] humanly possible people want to know
[01:27] that they can go from A to B fast that
[01:29] they’re not going to to be stuck in this
[01:31] process forever and ever and ever right
[01:33] and ultimately that comes down to having
[01:36] quantifiable results so in your business
[01:39] what is a specific outcome that people
[01:41] are looking for and how can you create a
[01:44] program that is the road map to that
[01:47] outcome that takes them from point A to
[01:49] point B in a certain time frame as
[01:52] quickly and efficiently as possible
[01:54] that’s what people are investing in
[01:55] right now and that’s a really important
[01:57] part of having a signature course that
[02:00] has that quantifiable outcome and a
[02:03] clear process to get them there that is
[02:05] definitely something that people are
[02:06] looking for in 2025 the next thing that
[02:09] I really see shifting is in how we give
[02:12] support for years and years now group
[02:15] coaching calls have been the standard of
[02:18] support inside education and coaching
[02:21] communities and while I get it that it
[02:24] seems like a great idea to have like one
[02:27] open-ended group coaching call where
[02:29] people get seat coaching they can ask
[02:31] questions and get them answered on the
[02:32] call these have really taken a turn not
[02:35] only do they tend to be ridiculously
[02:37] long but it’s also like playing the
[02:39] lottery if you actually get your
[02:40] question answered if you have a question
[02:43] and you have to get on a call and raise
[02:45] your hand and then wait for them to call
[02:47] in everybody else and answer the same
[02:48] questions over and over again like the
[02:50] most basic beginner level questions
[02:53] they’re never going to get to yours but
[02:55] having a way to get people timely
[02:58] relevant individual visualized support
[03:01] is a major shift that I think that we
[03:03] need to lean into in this industry
[03:06] people don’t want to just sit on a call
[03:08] and hope they get their questions
[03:10] answered and if you don’t answer their
[03:11] questions or get them the support that
[03:13] they need to get the result that they
[03:15] purchased your program to get they’re
[03:17] going to abandon it right they’re going
[03:18] to jump off because if you have
[03:21] individualized support and are answering
[03:23] people’s questions there’s no reason why
[03:25] they should disengage from your program
[03:27] so how do you provide individualized
[03:29] support I know that sounds really
[03:31] exhausting and as the Creator you really
[03:34] want to create boundaries and space
[03:37] between you and your clients and so how
[03:40] do you create individualized support in
[03:42] a scalable way the first way I see this
[03:45] working really well is individualized
[03:48] feedback so giving people an opportunity
[03:50] to submit something and then you respond
[03:52] to it another way that you can do this
[03:54] is through direct Q&A and so something I
[03:56] see working really well right now is
[03:58] having a designated place for questions
[04:00] and then a timely process for answering
[04:02] them for example if you have a student
[04:04] Community having like a pinned question
[04:06] post where you check it and you reply
[04:09] with answers and this is really helpful
[04:12] because not only can people ask a timely
[04:13] question but you can provide the answer
[04:16] without getting overwhelmed and without
[04:18] really taking more than just a second to
[04:20] answer the question or Point them in the
[04:22] direction of where that’s answered
[04:24] inside the content the third place that
[04:26] you can do this is having a student only
[04:29] podcast taking those commonly asked
[04:31] questions or those things that you want
[04:32] to dig deeper into and turning them into
[04:36] micro podcast episodes that people can
[04:38] go and listen to when they need that
[04:41] specific piece of information you can
[04:43] have these as audio lessons or different
[04:46] additions to your course but having a
[04:47] podcast gives that different feel and it
[04:50] feels more like specialized so if you
[04:53] don’t have a student only podcast as a
[04:56] part of your program that’s one way that
[04:58] you can add support where people can
[05:00] submit questions or ask questions and
[05:02] you can give them that direct feedback
[05:04] where you can deepen their level of
[05:06] Engagement and support without having to
[05:09] add anything else to your plate having
[05:11] scalable support systems is one of the
[05:13] things that I talk about in having a
[05:15] signature offer because it really is an
[05:17] important way to support your students
[05:20] and add that value but without adding
[05:23] additional work on your own plate and
[05:25] that’s really where having these
[05:27] different scalable systems that fit your
[05:29] program are key if you want to create a
[05:31] program that can scale the third shift
[05:34] that I see coming in creating online
[05:36] courses is adding more AI Integrations
[05:40] AI is not new and AI is one of the most
[05:43] powerful tools to help your clients get
[05:46] results and Shrink that time that it
[05:48] takes to do so so thinking about what
[05:51] you help people do how can you add AI to
[05:56] simplify that or to elevate it or to
[05:59] give them a more more specific or
[06:00] Hands-On or tangible example of things
[06:03] that they can do to get that result for
[06:06] example in the course industry templates
[06:09] are a pretty common uh addition to a
[06:11] program but instead of adding a template
[06:13] how can you create a GPT or have chat
[06:16] GPT prompts different ways that you can
[06:18] integrate AI to give them the leg up to
[06:21] give them like a template rather than
[06:23] you taking my template and writing the
[06:25] exact same emails as everyone else in
[06:27] the program if I created a GP
[06:30] that is programmed to give you that
[06:31] outcome based on your own individual
[06:33] variables that’s going to be
[06:35] significantly more valuable than just a
[06:37] plug-in-play template and so looking at
[06:40] different things that you’re already
[06:41] offering or different ways that you can
[06:43] offer additional support and additional
[06:46] learning using AI how can you lean into
[06:50] the tools that already exist and make
[06:54] them a part of your program to make
[06:56] yourself stand out and to give your
[06:58] clients a better experience using AI so
[07:01] for example I have a GPT that I built
[07:04] called idea to income that takes your
[07:07] ideal client and the problem that you
[07:08] solve and your expertise and turns it
[07:10] into a signature course idea I found
[07:13] that so many people get overwhelmed in
[07:15] the concept of creating their course
[07:17] like what’s the topic who’s it for
[07:19] what’s the promise what do I name it all
[07:20] of that goes away when you answer five
[07:23] simple questions that the GPT asks you
[07:26] and then it spits that out for you and
[07:28] then if you have any feedback or that’s
[07:29] not quite right you can tweak it but it
[07:32] gives you something to work with and so
[07:34] what I have with that is I eliminate
[07:37] that entire objection of I don’t know
[07:38] what to create a course about so what
[07:40] are different roadblocks that your
[07:42] clients are having that you can help
[07:43] them overcome using chat GPT or what are
[07:47] different systems or processes that take
[07:50] a really long time that you can simplify
[07:53] using GPT or AI so really start thinking
[07:56] outside of the box as far as what you
[07:58] can provide your student with so that
[08:00] you can deepen their understanding and
[08:02] their experience in your program using
[08:04] the tools that we have at our fingertips
[08:07] okay now let’s talk about selling
[08:08] because obviously selling online has
[08:10] changed a ton in 2024 and moving it to
[08:13] 2025 and so what are the trends that I
[08:15] see coming up in launching and selling
[08:18] online courses the first one is a hybrid
[08:21] style of live in Evergreen launching I’m
[08:24] a big proponent of having automated
[08:26] Sales Systems and one way that you can
[08:29] really Elevate that from this like pure
[08:31] Evergreen Ice Cold no personal
[08:34] interaction business model and balancing
[08:38] the constantly launching Hands-On doing
[08:40] all the things business model is this
[08:43] hybrid version and this is actually what
[08:45] I teach people inside of the compound
[08:48] conversions program is I teach you how
[08:51] to set up a hybrid system that you can
[08:53] add a live element to an evergreen sales
[08:57] system so for example how having
[08:59] compound launches which is like a
[09:01] quarterly master class or mini
[09:04] promotional event that people get to
[09:06] interact with you and have that Hands-On
[09:08] part but the sales system is automated
[09:11] plugging them into the Evergreen
[09:14] follow-up system based on what you
[09:17] already have proven is converting and so
[09:20] it really is leveraging both and so I
[09:22] see that that’s a really Innovative way
[09:25] of selling and it takes a lot of the
[09:28] pressure off of you to create new things
[09:30] every single time you want to promote
[09:32] your offers and it allows you to take
[09:35] the magic and energy of a live event and
[09:38] plug that into a proven sales system
[09:41] with your automated systems and lastly
[09:43] and quite possibly the biggest shift
[09:45] that I see coming into 2025 is having
[09:48] self-led Sales Systems people are no
[09:53] longer motivated exclusively by urgency
[09:57] people just want to buy when they want
[09:58] to buy it and this really comes down to
[10:01] giving people opportunities to make an
[10:03] empowered purchasing decision without
[10:05] having to wait for you to launch or
[10:07] without having to go through the whole
[10:09] rigma rle just letting people buy what
[10:12] they want to buy when they want to buy
[10:13] it and so what does this look like by
[10:15] having a self-led sales strategy you’re
[10:18] giving people the opportunity to sell
[10:20] themselves on your offer some people are
[10:22] ready to buy right away and some people
[10:24] need more time giving them the
[10:26] opportunity to take what they need and
[10:28] buy when they’re ready you’re going to
[10:30] not only reduce the friction of people
[10:32] trying to buy your offer but you’re also
[10:34] going to bring in people who are ready
[10:36] to take action and actually get results
[10:39] with it which is going to make a huge
[10:40] difference in your client experience so
[10:43] here’s how I recommend doing this first
[10:45] of all creating a bingeable Content
[10:47] system something that mimics kind of the
[10:50] content ramp up of a launch but that’s
[10:52] entirely bingeable this is really
[10:55] effective in like a private podcast or a
[10:57] YouTube series or some kind of content
[11:01] series that people can binge like a Blog
[11:04] series even to really get all of the
[11:07] information that they need to know that
[11:09] this is the right offer for them so they
[11:11] can then purchase it this also goes into
[11:14] having an automated Sal system so when
[11:16] they opt into that bingeable content
[11:18] system having a way to present the offer
[11:20] to them in a low friction way with
[11:23] follow-up emails that answer their
[11:25] questions and give them what they need
[11:26] to make that purchasing decision having
[11:28] ways to buy your offer outside of that
[11:31] outside of a launch outside of a funnel
[11:34] because there are people who maybe went
[11:35] through your funnel who then decide they
[11:37] do want to buy it later on but they
[11:38] don’t know how to get access to it or
[11:40] it’s locked away behind like some kind
[11:42] of imaginary deadline funnel wall no
[11:46] more of that by having like links to
[11:49] your offers on your website or having
[11:51] the link to your sales page in the
[11:54] signature of your email you’re making
[11:56] selling less hard you’re giving people a
[11:59] chance to buy what they want to buy when
[12:00] they want to buy it yes use the funnel
[12:03] yes have live launches yes have all of
[12:06] the active promotions but also having a
[12:09] passive way for people to just decide
[12:11] and just ultimately giving people the
[12:13] chance to buy when they’re ready to buy
[12:15] not just when you’re ready to sell so to
[12:17] recap I see more outcome focused courses
[12:21] I see more Innovative support systems I
[12:25] see more AI Integrations different
[12:28] hybrid styles of launching and self-led
[12:32] Sales Systems these are the trends that
[12:34] I see coming up in 2025 now I want to
[12:36] hear your take sound off in the comments
[12:38] below and tell me what things you see
[12:40] coming in 2025 or if you totally
[12:43] disagree with my take on it I want to
[12:45] know let’s talk about it because I think
[12:47] that Trends are things that come and go
[12:49] and ultimately we create the trends how
[12:52] we show up and how we as consumers are
[12:54] buying things are what is creating these
[12:57] Trends let me know below and I will see
[12:59] you in my next video
