[00:00] Is it still possible to become a
[00:01] part-time or a full-time content creator
[00:04] even with increasing competition, even
[00:06] with algorithms changing? Well, the
[00:08] answer is yes, and today’s guest proves
[00:11] that not only is it possible, but that
[00:13] it’s not overnight.
[00:14] >> It took long and it didn’t happen fast.
[00:16] Five, six years that you were doing,
[00:18] cool. This one year that you figured it
[00:20] out, here’s all the brand deals, here’s
[00:22] the community building, and that’s
[00:24] [music] when it started to click. I
[00:25] didn’t even know what I wanted to do. I
[00:27] was one of the kids that just didn’t
[00:29] know what they wanted to be in life. The
[00:30] whole point of going full-time is to be
[00:33] able to wake up with pure joy of wanting
[00:36] to do this.
[00:37] >> For the listener that would aspire, if
[00:39] they are starting from scratch today or
[00:40] thinking about some principles or how
[00:41] they might approach that, what just
[00:42] advice would you have for people that
[00:44] want to go full-time as a content
[00:46] creator?
[00:46] >> I wish I would have focused on that
[00:48] sooner.
[00:50] >> Today on the Think Media podcast, we’re
[00:51] actually joined by Nikki Saunders, who
[00:54] has built over 300,000 followers across
[00:56] platforms, a six-figure income, but she
[00:58] didn’t start there. She started with
[01:00] 9-to-5 jobs and freelancing and serving
[01:02] in the Navy and figuring out her path.
[01:05] And the cool thing is that there are
[01:06] principles you can apply to your own
[01:08] journey. So, if you want to go part-time
[01:10] or full-time as a YouTuber, content
[01:12] creator, then this is the episode for
[01:15] you. Let’s lock in cuz it’s packed full
[01:17] of nuggets. Here we go. Overnight
[01:19] success is never overnight. How would
[01:22] you answer the question of how long did
[01:24] it take you to go full-time as a content
[01:27] creator?
[01:28] >> I would I would really have to say from
[01:30] a long version, probably about seven
[01:34] years, per se.
[01:37] Um and then it like ramped up in like a
[01:39] year, year and a half, right? Um so, I
[01:43] started creating content on Instagram,
[01:46] uh going live, everything like that when
[01:49] I was helping Eric Thomas.
[01:52] Uh that was the only thing that I had
[01:55] that I could do on a consistent basis
[01:56] was go live.
[01:57] >> But what year was that?
[01:59] >> That was
[02:00] 2016-17,
[02:04] something around there, right? Um and I
[02:08] started to see how the Instagram was
[02:10] growing, but it wasn’t kind of making
[02:12] any type of money. And then this is
[02:14] where I realized, okay,
[02:17] we were
[02:18] the pandemic started, and so everybody
[02:21] was like trying to figure out content,
[02:23] trying to figure out different ways. So
[02:24] I had started a podcast uh called The
[02:27] Nikki and Moose. And that was doing
[02:29] good.
[02:30] It had a few views. We had one
[02:32] sponsorship. It was It was making little
[02:35] So it it gave me that itch of like,
[02:37] okay, this kid this has something,
[02:40] right? Um
[02:42] but
[02:43] it wasn’t until probably when I went all
[02:46] in on my own channel, um all in on being
[02:50] consistent on multiple platforms and a
[02:54] specific niche where it was like,
[02:57] okay, that that 5-6 years that you were
[03:00] doing, cool. This 1 year that you
[03:02] figured it out, here’s all the brand
[03:04] deals, here’s the community building,
[03:06] here’s the the merch, here’s all that.
[03:09] And that’s when it started to click
[03:11] like, okay, content can actually make me
[03:16] full-time. I don’t have to worry about
[03:18] 9:00 to 5:00, stuff like that. I don’t
[03:20] have to worry about figuring out
[03:22] different freelance stuff and all of
[03:25] that. And uh but it happened so at it
[03:28] took long and then it happened fast.
[03:30] >> Interesting. There’s a a book uh
[03:34] from Mark Batterson that I think is
[03:36] called Gradually and then Suddenly.
[03:38] >> Yeah.
[03:39] >> That like everything How How do you get
[03:42] out of debt? Gradually and then suddenly
[03:45] you’re out of debt.
[03:46] >> Yeah.
[03:46] >> How do you get into debt?
[03:48] Gradually.
[03:49] >> Yes.
[03:50] >> And then suddenly you’re like, wait a
[03:51] minute, how did get so far in a day?
[03:52] >> Absolutely.
[03:53] >> So, this idea of gradually then suddenly
[03:56] that’s fascinating. Now, of course,
[03:57] you’re sitting in the place today where
[03:59] a lot of people want to be. They want to
[04:01] be part-time or full-time income. They
[04:03] want to be generating real money from
[04:04] content. And we could talk about those
[04:06] principles, but I’m fascinated
[04:08] in the timeline and in the lessons of
[04:11] how you got through those gradually
[04:13] years.
[04:13] >> Yeah.
[04:14] >> So, just to kind of put the timeline
[04:15] together,
[04:17] 2016-ish,
[04:18] you’re doing freelance content
[04:21] for Eric Thomas, among other things.
[04:24] >> And that’s And then you start doing
[04:25] stuff on Instagram. And then, before we
[04:27] hit record, you said around 2023,
[04:30] you sunsetted a podcast, went all in on
[04:33] your own stuff, and that’s been your
[04:34] growth place.
[04:36] >> Okay. So, what were you doing to pay the
[04:39] bills since 2016?
[04:41] >> Yeah, so I had different client work,
[04:43] right, for content creation, running
[04:45] social media pages, and things of that
[04:48] nature. And that was cool. I think that
[04:50] helps me get in the game of like really
[04:53] figuring out the love that I had, which
[04:55] was just content creation.
[04:56] >> itself. Would you recommend
[04:59] and did you do that intentionally that
[05:01] if like the thing you wanted to do
[05:02] eventually by yourself, like have a
[05:04] personal brand,
[05:05] if you could do it for somebody else,
[05:07] you could do it as a freelancer, it just
[05:08] helps you like compound something you
[05:10] love and practice and get paid for it?
[05:12] >> I’m I’m big on uh my my my big brother
[05:16] CJ always told told me like uh before
[05:19] you can get a team, you got to be on a
[05:20] team.
[05:20] >> Mhm.
[05:21] >> Right? And so, I I take that in all kind
[05:24] of different aspects of before you get
[05:25] big, you have to be on other platforms
[05:28] that are big. You have to be with around
[05:30] different teams that are big, right? And
[05:32] so, seeing it from different personal
[05:35] brands, different big companies, how
[05:37] they do things, I was like, okay, I know
[05:40] what to do and what I don’t want to do.
[05:43] Like one of the things that uh a lot of
[05:45] people do that I don’t personally like
[05:47] doing is the daily webinars and stuff. I
[05:51] can’t do that. I could do quarterly, you
[05:53] know what I mean? Like maybe I could do
[05:55] that. But I had to go through
[05:58] what they did. I had to see it from
[05:59] their aspect. I had to see the money
[06:01] that can come from that, try it, and
[06:04] then be like, “No, I’m not going to do
[06:07] that.” Or yes, that works for my thing.
[06:10] The thing that I learned
[06:12] very well was try everything.
[06:15] You don’t know what you don’t like until
[06:17] you try everything.
[06:18] >> When you say try everything, could that
[06:19] look like try live streaming, try
[06:21] shorts, but what else could that look
[06:23] like?
[06:24] >> Like that could be uh try building a
[06:26] community, try doing
[06:29] um
[06:30] you know, writing when it’s not your
[06:32] natural, right? So, start a Substack,
[06:35] start your own blog, you know?
[06:37] Uh go live every single day for a whole
[06:40] month. Go and post not non-edited
[06:45] videos, just you on your phone for 3
[06:48] months straight. Like the the thing that
[06:50] I’ve learned by doing things that I
[06:51] wasn’t comfortable with or that didn’t
[06:54] come natural to me is that I needed to
[06:56] collect data.
[06:57] >> Mhm.
[06:57] >> It’s sometimes not about how I feel,
[07:00] it’s about what the audience wants and
[07:02] what the platform wants, right? Um with
[07:05] a sense of how I feel. All right. And
[07:07] so, there’s a
[07:09] there’s this book, I think it was called
[07:10] like small experiments or something like
[07:12] tiny experiments. And what was good
[07:15] about it is like everything is an
[07:17] experiment. So, what you’re doing is
[07:20] saying, “Okay, I’m going to do this from
[07:22] this day to this day, and it’s only
[07:25] purely for collecting data.” And so,
[07:28] whether it is from a money standpoint,
[07:31] whether it’s from a view standpoint,
[07:32] whether it’s from a feeling standpoint,
[07:34] how does that all play into part? And
[07:37] so, that’s how I was starting to make my
[07:39] moves, not just off of feelings, not
[07:41] just off of views, not just off of
[07:43] money, but all three of them to be like,
[07:45] “Okay, I like this.” Cuz I’ve seen it
[07:48] being on these big teams. I’ve seen
[07:50] where the money thing happens and how a
[07:52] lot of creators get burnt out and just
[07:56] miserable when they’re just focusing on
[07:59] the money or they’re only focusing on
[08:01] the views and they don’t got no money.
[08:03] So then they get burnt out off of that
[08:05] way and then they’re almost guaranteed
[08:07] to go back to a 9-5. And so I was like,
[08:11] “Okay, let’s do three metrics and see
[08:13] how that goes along to figure out what
[08:15] is my like full-time part-time formula.”
[08:20] >> So what did you eventually discover?
[08:21] >> I discovered that I’m a great community
[08:23] builder.
[08:24] I love working with brands. So brand
[08:27] deals have been great for me, right? Um
[08:31] and I love experiences. Meaning not
[08:35] necessarily like the mastermind style
[08:38] like that per se, but more of bringing
[08:41] people together and like locking in on
[08:45] uh like finding a hotel and us just
[08:48] working and creating something at the
[08:50] end. Yeah, so in-person stuff.
[08:52] >> Yeah, that’s
[08:54] >> relational.
[08:55] >> That that’s what that’s what I realized
[08:57] is my thing.
[08:58] >> that with you? You have like an office?
[08:59] >> Yeah, like so
[09:01] one thing that
[09:03] has been real big for me is what is the
[09:05] world that I’m building,
[09:07] right? Not what is and I say community
[09:09] because that’s like the common trend
[09:11] word, but what is the world that I’m
[09:13] building? How for me, I’m big on
[09:16] introverts and ambiverts
[09:18] feeling
[09:19] seen and heard
[09:22] by being their authentic self, creating
[09:25] content, being a global brand without
[09:27] burning out. That’s my biggest thing.
[09:29] How do we create that world that allows
[09:31] them to do that with the right systems,
[09:34] with the right support, and all of that.
[09:37] So, for me
[09:39] it’s it’s looking at my own life and
[09:41] that’s what I’ve realized that the best
[09:44] creators do is like looking at their own
[09:46] life and what has made them get to the
[09:48] next level. What has helped them be
[09:50] happy? What has helped them go through
[09:52] uh get out of the burnout and everything
[09:54] like that. Why am I not creating that?
[09:57] For others. Why am I just keeping that
[10:00] and realizing people be like, yes, I
[10:02] want to be a part of that.
[10:03] >> Yeah.
[10:03] >> I want I actually want to pay for that.
[10:05] Like it like yes, the educate especially
[10:08] in this AI world, education is so
[10:12] available. It’s how are you making me
[10:15] feel accepted, but also guiding me
[10:18] through all of this overwhelm. And so,
[10:22] that’s what I’ve been building with the
[10:25] with Lion’s Behavior where okay, I have
[10:28] the educational side when I want to tap
[10:30] into it. I have the uh in-person stuff
[10:33] when I want to tap into it. And then of
[10:35] course, I love working
[10:37] we’re talking about so many different
[10:38] tools and all that. I love working with
[10:40] different brands because that’s another
[10:43] another way of working inside of like
[10:45] until I can figure out my own
[10:48] quote-unquote tool or my own product,
[10:50] I’m looking at how these other AI tools
[10:52] are doing it. I’m seeing their launch
[10:54] products. I’m seeing how they’re doing
[10:56] it and the importance of how creators
[10:59] are. Like my my goal now is like, what
[11:01] is the big company that just needs a
[11:03] content creator?
[11:05] >> Mhm.
[11:05] >> The in in an executive role. Because
[11:09] >> Yeah, why? Because
[11:11] >> now thinking about from the place of
[11:12] influence and authority that you’ve
[11:14] built about becoming like a fractional
[11:16] team member of the right AI tool
[11:19] partner.
[11:19] >> Not not not even from an AI tool per se
[11:22] because what I’m realizing is like
[11:26] business owners suck at creating
[11:29] content, right?
[11:31] >> Yeah.
[11:32] >> Content creators suck at the business
[11:34] side.
[11:34] >> True.
[11:35] >> Right?
[11:36] So, how do we collab more? Not
[11:40] necessarily just like, “Okay, I talk
[11:42] about AI, get more AI tools, more that
[11:45] but like
[11:46] I have a strong tool and most content
[11:48] creators have a strong tool of
[11:50] storytelling, of
[11:53] attention, of the already a built-in
[11:55] audience. And these business owners are
[11:59] like, “You’re exactly what I need and
[12:02] I’m
[12:03] I’m trying to create content and it’s
[12:06] not really working.” Well, because
[12:09] you’re getting people who are building
[12:11] the actual product to try to create
[12:13] content. Let us do it. Let us like
[12:16] But that’s a role. That’s like a high
[12:18] like I know exactly what you need. I
[12:20] know how many content creators you
[12:22] probably need on your team. I know the
[12:25] campaigns you need and things of that
[12:27] nature. I’m looking at things in that
[12:29] nature now of
[12:30] “Oh, content creators have a whole new
[12:34] role if they look at it in that way.
[12:36] It’s not just the product service
[12:41] but it’s also Fortune 500s, they may be
[12:44] able to put you in a a C-suite type
[12:47] vibe.
[12:48] >> Yeah.
[12:48] >> If you know what you’re doing.
[12:50] >> That’s actually kind of fascinating. You
[12:52] know, I want to unpack these years
[12:54] before you went full-time, but I think
[12:56] as even a side quest for somebody who’s
[12:58] aspiring to be a full-time content
[13:00] creator, they could maybe redefine what
[13:02] does that even mean.
[13:03] >> Yeah.
[13:03] >> Meaning
[13:04] we’ve had multiple people like in our
[13:06] VRA program become even employees or
[13:09] contractors to be the hired talent
[13:13] to represent a company.
[13:14] >> Yeah.
[13:14] >> So, it’s a little bit different than
[13:15] what you’re talking about cuz you
[13:16] already have your own, you know, like
[13:17] you’re very established and you’ve got
[13:18] like that independent income, but as you
[13:21] know, what does me I I think a lot of us
[13:23] want to be independent, but being a
[13:24] full-time content creator perhaps by
[13:26] definition means you make a full-time
[13:28] living creating content.
[13:29] >> That’s fine.
[13:30] >> And so, if a company could pay your
[13:32] salary, so you could be the face for
[13:34] them,
[13:35] then you’re a full-time content creator.
[13:37] So, I’m curious though, back to
[13:40] these years when it’s part-time, when
[13:42] you’re juggling multiple things.
[13:44] >> Yep.
[13:45] >> What do you think are like the mindsets
[13:47] or the principles
[13:48] that Did you always want to do what
[13:50] you’re doing right now?
[13:51] >> No. I didn’t even know what I wanted to
[13:53] do. I was the I was one of the kids that
[13:55] just didn’t know what they wanted to be
[13:56] in life.
[13:57] >> Have you been feeling stuck on YouTube,
[13:58] or you wish you were getting results
[14:00] faster? I recommend checking out
[14:02] viralvideocoach.com.
[14:05] You know, years ago in my life, I was
[14:06] experiencing chronic pain in both arms.
[14:08] It was up to a level 10. It was so
[14:11] frustrating. My hope was actually going
[14:13] down, and I ran into a bunch of dead
[14:15] ends. I bought some books on it. I
[14:17] didn’t actually read them. I’m sure the
[14:18] books were good. I bought some online
[14:20] courses, and again, did about half, but
[14:23] still found my stuff unable to fully
[14:25] solve the pain. But then everything
[14:27] changed when I hired a specialist. And
[14:30] that really is what viralvideocoach.com
[14:32] is. We have a coaching program here at
[14:34] Think Media that will give you the
[14:36] accountability, and the support, and the
[14:39] feedback, so that you can see the things
[14:41] that you can’t see, the opportunities on
[14:43] your channel, fixing what’s broken. And
[14:45] whether you want to start and
[14:46] accelerate, or whether you’re an expert
[14:49] and a business owner that wants more
[14:50] leads and customers, and just wants the
[14:52] shortcut to doing YouTube right. So,
[14:55] just go to viralvideocoach.com,
[14:57] fill out a short form, and then we’ll
[14:59] walk you through all of the next steps.
[15:01] There’s a link in the show notes. You
[15:02] could use that as well. And with that,
[15:04] let’s dive back into the podcast. Okay,
[15:07] so, do you think by your personality,
[15:09] you were just one who just like enjoy
[15:11] life and experiment?
[15:12] >> Yes.
[15:12] >> So, you’re sort of following where life
[15:14] takes you, and your career was more
[15:15] organic.
[15:16] >> Yeah, because I So, I started in the
[15:18] Navy as one, I didn’t even have a job,
[15:22] right? So, which is so not recommended.
[15:24] So, I was doing all like the grunt work,
[15:27] painting and everything like that, but
[15:29] exploring everybody else’s job
[15:31] >> Yeah.
[15:31] >> to see what I want, right? And then, I
[15:34] went into IT, still exploring what I
[15:38] wanted to do cuz I felt like that really
[15:39] wasn’t it, right? And then, when I got
[15:43] out, and then I was like, I have
[15:45] something about this content thing, but
[15:48] I went into let’s manage social media,
[15:50] not knowing
[15:52] I I was getting closer, right?
[15:54] Everything is still closer to what I am
[15:57] doing right now, but I never had that
[16:00] like I know this is what it is. And I
[16:03] And I live very like
[16:06] what you know, what’s meant for me is
[16:08] meant for me. Like, if I get an idea,
[16:10] it’s from a higher power. If it’s this,
[16:13] like, if I’m going a certain path, it’s
[16:15] coming from a higher power, I’m great
[16:16] with that. When I’m looking at now the
[16:19] path of like the part-time side, I’m
[16:22] looking for like little momentum things.
[16:24] Like, I was so happy when Instagram gave
[16:27] me 10 cents. I was like,
[16:30] we got something.
[16:30] >> Interesting.
[16:31] >> When YouTube find like gave us a dollar,
[16:34] what?
[16:35] We’re about to blow. Like, you I just
[16:38] needed something to be like because
[16:42] the great thing about content creators
[16:44] is that we have
[16:46] I I say ideas are clouds. Like, you
[16:48] can’t touch them, right? It there’s just
[16:50] in our heads, and the fact that we can
[16:52] create a video and it
[16:54] not only gets impact, but there’s also
[16:56] monetization from it, it’s now a matter
[16:59] of how do we multiply that.
[17:00] >> Mhm.
[17:01] >> It’s, okay, I got 10 cents.
[17:03] Now, I said I wanted to make money. I
[17:05] didn’t say how much. This that’s that’s
[17:07] another thing. How are we getting
[17:08] specific with how much we want to make,
[17:10] but I didn’t say how much, but we made
[17:12] it. So, now, how do I make it into 2.12 from affiliate marketing
[18:02] in 2010.
[18:03] It Is it logical that I should be
[18:06] excited on the one hand because I could
[18:08] go wait tables that night and make 2.12. So, how do I scale
[18:17] it?” So, that that grind to be in a
[18:21] part-time or full-time content creator
[18:22] can feel overwhelming.
[18:23] >> Mhm.
[18:24] >> Um and it is and it can take a lot of
[18:27] time, but celebrate when you first get
[18:30] monetized or when you make that first 10
[18:31] cents from a creator program or whatever
[18:33] it is.
[18:35] What else on the journey
[18:37] do you think
[18:39] And thank you for your service, by the
[18:40] way, as well, from your upbringing or
[18:43] from maybe your mindset, maybe where do
[18:45] you see other people getting stuck and
[18:46] giving up?
[18:48] What is it that keeps you going or that
[18:50] could be a useful tool for listeners
[18:53] when they’re building a side hustle and
[18:54] they’re maybe overwhelmed with their
[18:55] main hustle and their 9-to-5?
[18:57] >> Yeah, so I have to remember that impact
[19:01] brings money, right? Um and that’s a
[19:04] very hard thing to like really grasp in
[19:09] this whole attention, views, like era
[19:12] that we’re in because uh for example,
[19:16] when I sunsetted the podcast, right? I
[19:19] thought no one really was watching it,
[19:21] right?
[19:21] >> Yeah.
[19:21] >> Because you’re looking at metrics.
[19:23] >> story, you had a podcast just again
[19:24] >> Yep.
[19:25] >> called Nicki and Moose.
[19:26] >> We had it for like 3 years.
[19:27] >> That’s a long time.
[19:28] >> Yes.
[19:29] >> How many episodes?
[19:30] >> It was 182 or 84, something around
[19:32] there. Yeah.
[19:33] >> Which
[19:34] to principalize this, if that’s a word
[19:37] too, I think it is interesting that you
[19:38] had more than one project before
[19:41] >> Yes.
[19:42] >> your thing took off.
[19:43] >> Yes.
[19:43] >> It’s crazy how many people we’ve talked
[19:45] to that it’s like, oh yeah, okay, now
[19:46] you’re full-time on YouTube, you got a
[19:47] silver play button on YouTube.
[19:49] So, this is your first channel? They’re
[19:50] like, no, it’s channel five.
[19:51] >> Yeah.
[19:52] >> channel three. No, I had a couple
[19:53] channels, I had a couple experiments,
[19:55] and whoever you work for as well.
[19:57] >> Yeah.
[19:57] >> That’s interesting, but I’m interrupting
[19:59] you. So, that podcast goes for 3 years,
[20:02] and then you eventually make the
[20:03] decision to shut it down.
[20:05] >> Yeah, and I I shut it down, and then I
[20:08] heard an uproar of like, “Yo, why’d you
[20:12] why’d you cancel it? Why’d you stop? Oh
[20:14] my god, we love it.” I still hear it to
[20:16] this day. “Yo, I’m a
[20:18] Nicki and Moose fan.” And I’m like,
[20:20] “Where were you?”
[20:21] >> Yeah, they were not vocal during that
[20:23] >> Right, like, we came out with this, we
[20:25] started a Patreon, you where were you,
[20:28] right?
[20:29] >> That’s right.
[20:29] >> “Oh my god, I loved it. I wish you would
[20:31] come back. Are you thinking about
[20:32] coming?” No, I’m not. It’s not
[20:35] happening, right? But it taught me that
[20:40] the impact, because because they were
[20:43] saying this, brands would start looking
[20:45] at it of like, oh, you got their
[20:47] attention. And they followed you to your
[20:50] next situation.
[20:52] >> Mhm.
[20:52] >> Okay, how can we work together, right?
[20:55] Um and at Of course, I think in any
[20:59] content creator’s journey, there’s going
[21:02] to be a season where you just focus on
[21:04] money, right? It’s almost like that
[21:06] weird survival mode.
[21:07] >> the bills. Money for the mission.
[21:09] >> I got to
[21:09] >> [clears throat]
[21:09] >> I got to figure this out if this is
[21:11] going to be a thing. And what I realized
[21:15] because I had that part-time stuff with
[21:19] E and everything like that,
[21:21] I was able to like
[21:23] focus on the money, but a really focus
[21:26] on the impact more. That’s why I was
[21:28] okay starting a whole brand new channel
[21:31] cuz we had like 18,000 subscribers and
[21:34] everything like that. I could have just
[21:35] pivoted, unlisted some things, and try
[21:38] to make it work. I started a whole new
[21:40] channel and but I took the lessons that
[21:43] I learned from that channel of like,
[21:45] “Okay, we’re not going to talk about all
[21:47] these other topics. We’re going to focus
[21:50] >> this a little bit. So, I was going to
[21:52] ask you that. The lessons you learned,
[21:53] you got to do a podcast. It grew to a
[21:55] place where people were sad it was
[21:57] ending. It grew to 18,000 subscribers,
[21:59] but it also had some flaws or some
[22:01] lessons.
[22:01] >> Oh, absolutely.
[22:02] >> And then you launched more informed each
[22:04] time in every iteration of your brand.
[22:06] But, what were those lessons or mistakes
[22:08] you’d say you made?
[22:09] >> One was not talking about seven
[22:13] different things in like a a month,
[22:15] right?
[22:16] >> You guys talked about like seven
[22:17] different
[22:18] >> about So, even though we thought we had
[22:20] the theme of like business and personal
[22:23] branding, right? We were still relying
[22:26] too much on
[22:28] uh trending content. So, if Kevin Hart
[22:32] did something, a launch, and we would
[22:35] try to focus on the business side and
[22:37] everything, but we were still leveraging
[22:39] Kevin Hart’s
[22:41] uh brand, right?
[22:42] >> So, you might have had a breakout
[22:43] episode. You’re like, “Cool, I got
[22:44] views.” Yeah. But, it wasn’t necessarily
[22:46] everybody who was clicking to learn
[22:48] about business and branding. Yep.
[22:50] Whatever you packaged it as. And the
[22:52] temptation could also be to package it
[22:54] >> Yeah.
[22:55] >> in such a broad appeal way that it’ll
[22:56] get max views, but won’t necessarily
[22:58] build the best audience. It might harm
[23:00] the audience over time.
[23:01] >> And I didn’t that at the time.
[23:03] >> or whatever.
[23:04] >> Right.
[23:04] A great example that we did was we
[23:07] interviewed Anthony O’Neal, right? Off,
[23:10] amazing, amazing interview. We talked
[23:13] about his content journey, his brand,
[23:15] his going growing his YouTube and all of
[23:17] that. But there was one question that we
[23:20] talked about, which was A, why did you
[23:23] leave Dave Ramsey to go on your own and
[23:26] create this brand that you have still
[23:28] going around what we normally talk
[23:30] about.
[23:31] >> Yeah.
[23:31] >> But
[23:33] it it people saw that and thought drama,
[23:36] right?
[23:37] >> Of course, yeah.
[23:37] >> Right. Like, oh, and Anthony O’Neal left
[23:40] Dave Ramsey. And then so I looking at
[23:42] that, the views, great, cool. We thought
[23:45] this was great. Um realizing also
[23:49] retention was low.
[23:50] >> Mhm.
[23:51] >> Because once they got the answer, then
[23:53] they left.
[23:53] >> They don’t care about the rest of the
[23:54] stuff. They don’t care about that one
[23:55] thing in the title.
[23:56] >> else. So something that we thought was
[23:58] like, okay, this is going to make a lot
[24:00] of money, right? It was it was decent,
[24:03] but we knew it could have been better.
[24:06] And then we realized that one hurt the
[24:09] channel.
[24:09] >> Mhm.
[24:10] >> And so our views started to tank because
[24:14] people were seeking more information
[24:16] like that.
[24:17] >> Yep.
[24:18] >> And we couldn’t figure it out for the
[24:21] life of us. So we were continuously
[24:23] putting out stuff where we should have
[24:25] just archived
[24:27] that one. We should have unlisted that
[24:29] in hopes of keeping that channel.
[24:31] >> but also counterintuitive because
[24:33] basically in a way like a a video that’s
[24:35] going viral for you
[24:37] >> Yep.
[24:37] >> is a video that actually
[24:39] should be archived and made private.
[24:41] >> Yep.
[24:42] >> Because ultimately it’s conditioning the
[24:44] algorithm with a long-term audience that
[24:46] you don’t really want. Or that the next
[24:49] upload that’s coming is not something
[24:50] that’s going to satisfy them.
[24:53] >> That takes it seems like it’s a lesson
[24:55] that for many content creators is hard
[24:57] to learn and you sometimes don’t learn
[24:58] it until you might learn it painfully.
[25:00] >> Mhm.
[25:01] >> What do you think it is? Do you think
[25:02] it’s
[25:04] ego,
[25:05] ignorance that
[25:08] we chase algorithms and not necessarily
[25:10] impact?
[25:11] >> God. Um
[25:13] I think it has to do a lot with both,
[25:17] right? With ignorance and ego.
[25:20] And that we we just don’t know anything
[25:21] else. Like
[25:22] >> Sure.
[25:23] >> It’s It’s just getting now where
[25:26] being a content creator is a thing,
[25:29] right?
[25:30] >> Like
[25:30] >> Um
[25:31] >> Like a practical It’s unconventional cuz
[25:33] this conversation is like it’s
[25:34] curiosity, it’s seasons, it’s persevere
[25:37] over here, it’s do this.
[25:39] But at the same time there are
[25:40] principles and there’s so many patterns.
[25:42] Yourself,
[25:43] hundreds of people we’ve now
[25:44] interviewed, you know, our students,
[25:46] your students. Like it’s wild. It’s not
[25:50] quite as linear as other careers, but
[25:52] it’s a real career.
[25:53] >> Right. And and we’re starting to see it
[25:55] now. I think this is like the third,
[25:56] fourth year in Forbes where they just
[25:58] have Forbes content creators and
[26:00] everything. Like it’s a thing, but
[26:03] before it was it wasn’t necessarily like
[26:06] we would still just look at as the views
[26:09] and followers and you know, just pure
[26:11] metrics. And so we didn’t understand We
[26:14] knew, okay, there’s impact to it,
[26:17] there’s money to it, but you don’t get
[26:19] that until you get the views and the
[26:22] followers, so we thought, right?
[26:24] >> We thought it was only big views, big
[26:26] followers.
[26:26] >> and so it’s a it’s a ignorant situation
[26:29] because you don’t know anything until
[26:31] you’re in the game.
[26:32] When you’re in the game, you then you
[26:34] start to go outside and you start to
[26:36] hear
[26:37] uh
[26:37] what people are saying. You start to
[26:39] read the DMs, you start to get the
[26:41] emails, and you’re like, “Okay, this is
[26:43] this is a different This is not what I
[26:46] expected. You know, this is a a
[26:48] relationship that I’m I’m building with
[26:51] the audience. This is a true connection
[26:53] that I was there Monday
[26:57] at 9:00 p.m. situation and I took that
[26:59] away and and now a father and daughter
[27:03] is riding in silence going back to their
[27:05] crib when they were used to used to
[27:08] listen to the show. Like that that right
[27:12] there had changed a lot for me to where
[27:14] it’s like, okay.
[27:16] The things that we come out with has to
[27:18] be impactful. It has to be in order to
[27:22] level up or create some type of
[27:24] connection with our with our audience.
[27:26] It can’t just be views cuz it doesn’t do
[27:29] anything. It doesn’t make our audience
[27:32] feel any better and it doesn’t bring
[27:34] more money to our pockets for the long
[27:36] term. If I can make my audience happy,
[27:40] they’re going to continue to pay me
[27:43] for a long term.
[27:44] >> Yeah.
[27:45] >> Right? Where
[27:47] we can for people who build communities,
[27:50] we hear this this lovely
[27:52] term called churn rate, right? And so
[27:55] some people will have like a 3-month
[27:57] churn rate or whatever. I have people in
[27:59] my community for over a year. Like and
[28:04] they’re planning to go nowhere.
[28:06] Not necessarily because they’re using
[28:08] all the resources that I have or
[28:10] anything like that. They’re like, yo,
[28:12] I’ve feel the most seen and heard here.
[28:15] I know you care.
[28:17] >> Mhm.
[28:17] >> And that’s the most important like the
[28:20] impact is is so important. And so yeah,
[28:24] the the views are great
[28:26] and I look at it in the sense of the
[28:28] metric still has to attract people that
[28:31] don’t know us, meaning the brands.
[28:33] >> Yeah.
[28:33] >> You know? Um so there has to be a
[28:36] strategy of all right, we still have to
[28:39] pay these types of bills with this type
[28:42] of metrics. But now if we’re thinking
[28:45] about long-term bills, right? Long-term
[28:48] money. How are we building this
[28:50] connection? What is those different
[28:52] pieces of content that was going to
[28:54] connect it? That’s why lives are so
[28:56] important to me. I do
[28:58] like probably a 2 and 1/2 3-hour live
[29:00] every Monday.
[29:02] Just for that. I want to pour in so much
[29:05] to you that you are like, I love you.
[29:08] Where are we going next? I’m I’m taking
[29:10] this ride with you, right? I think lives
[29:13] are the most underrated but best
[29:15] converting content.
[29:18] >> Interesting. That’s cuz of depth, too.
[29:19] If someone’s hanging with you for 30
[29:21] minutes, an hour, 2 and 1/2 hours, 3
[29:23] hours. Um okay, so in a second, I want
[29:26] to get like kind of just your principles
[29:29] that you would encourage somebody who’s
[29:31] starting from zero or somebody who wants
[29:33] to go part-time or full-time.
[29:34] >> Yep.
[29:35] >> And your advice to them today in today’s
[29:37] world with today’s tools, maybe what you
[29:39] would do differently.
[29:39] >> Yep.
[29:41] >> In just a second. But before we do, I’m
[29:43] curious
[29:44] describe where you sit now.
[29:47] You When did you go full-time?
[29:50] >> Mhm.
[29:51] >> What does it feel like?
[29:52] >> Mhm.
[29:54] >> What are some misconceptions people
[29:55] might have about you? How many Rolexes
[29:57] do you own?
[29:58] >> Ha, none.
[30:00] >> [laughter]
[30:00] >> Um what’s the lifestyle of a six-figure,
[30:04] you know, full-time content creator?
[30:06] >> Happy in a Honda. You know what I mean?
[30:08] Happy, but that’s that’s the thing,
[30:10] happy. I focus more on happiness and
[30:13] freedom
[30:14] than I focus on anything material or
[30:18] anything like that, right? We
[30:22] we work so hard to have that. Like if
[30:26] I’m not If I don’t wake up like, okay, I
[30:28] love what I do, right? Then I’m doing
[30:30] something wrong. I might as well just go
[30:32] back to the 9-to-5 situation. I might as
[30:34] well go back to freelancing or something
[30:36] like that cuz I was doing stuff I didn’t
[30:38] want to do.
[30:38] >> Mhm.
[30:39] >> The whole point of going full-time and
[30:43] doing the things that I do now is to be
[30:46] able to wake up with pure joy of wanting
[30:49] to do this,
[30:50] right? Um, and not focusing on like I
[30:54] don’t have to worry about money in a
[30:58] sense of like I’m checking my bank
[31:00] accounts like I used to.
[31:01] >> If you’re an entrepreneur or a creator
[31:02] that wants to scale their online
[31:04] business, that’s why we created the
[31:06] Think Media Mastermind.
[31:08] >> I have so much more clarity as to my
[31:10] ideal target audience now, which means
[31:13] my content is about to be so much better
[31:15] and more targeted towards the exact
[31:16] person I’m trying to reach.
[31:17] >> Super intimate, high-level strategy.
[31:20] >> I had the skills that I already knew
[31:22] sharpened.
[31:23] >> [music]
[31:23] >> I feel like I went to my next level.
[31:27] >> For entrepreneurs and creators that want
[31:29] to scale with YouTube.
[31:30] >> This was the first time that I was able
[31:33] to get in a room with a lot of other
[31:35] serious YouTubers and talk with other
[31:37] people who love creating content and
[31:39] love YouTube. Usually I don’t get to do
[31:41] that, so this is really special.
[31:43] >> You can check it out at
[31:44] thinkmediamastermind.com.
[31:46] >> Yeah.
[31:47] >> Not sitting here like I’m going to Bora
[31:48] Bora every single week either, right?
[31:51] >> Um, I’m not on the
[31:53] flex economy, as I like to say. There is
[31:55] a whole section of people who like to
[31:58] just create the content of what they’re
[32:00] doing with it. I’m more of like
[32:03] I’m happy, I’m blessed, my family’s good
[32:07] and in great health, and that’s the only
[32:09] thing that matters to me in my little
[32:11] Honda, and I’m okay with that, right?
[32:14] >> And how big’s your team grown?
[32:15] >> Uh, we are we actually downsize. We have
[32:19] probably about three people now, right?
[32:22] >> So, seven years plus
[32:25] >> Mhm.
[32:27] >> one to two years of explosive growth
[32:30] >> Yes.
[32:30] >> six-figure creator business, three team
[32:32] members
[32:32] >> Yeah.
[32:33] >> Yeah.
[32:33] >> 500 agents, AI agents, you know, like AI
[32:36] agents tools. You’re doing this, you’re
[32:39] scaling. And I love that there’s already
[32:41] been many principles we’ve pulled out of
[32:43] your story, but I am curious
[32:46] your advice
[32:47] >> Yes.
[32:48] >> for somebody that first comes up and is
[32:50] like, is this still possible to be a
[32:52] content creator full-time? And if so, or
[32:54] if I want to And I actually love how you
[32:57] know, we have similar values and like
[32:59] not really flex economy, how we you
[33:02] know, might steward or or manage our
[33:04] money. But what I love about the creator
[33:06] economy is I think it’s probably grossly
[33:09] overrated of becoming like a social
[33:11] media millionaire. It’s also grossly
[33:14] underrated of how practical it is to
[33:16] earn a few thousand or a couple, you
[33:18] know, tens of thousands of dollars a
[33:19] year
[33:20] >> Yeah.
[33:21] >> as supplemental income. Like maybe you
[33:23] still got your main thing, but you could
[33:24] go more part-time, you know, if you were
[33:26] the long tail. So, saying that for the
[33:28] listener that would aspire, if they are
[33:30] starting from scratch today or thinking
[33:31] about some principles or how they might
[33:33] approach that, what just advice would
[33:34] you have for people that want to go
[33:36] full-time as a content creator?
[33:37] >> One, that this is a journey.
[33:39] That they have to have in mind that if
[33:42] you do not want to do this for 10 years,
[33:44] don’t even try.
[33:45] >> You think it’s 10 years?
[33:46] >> I don’t I’m saying the
[33:47] >> Some people say three at least.
[33:49] >> no, no, no, no, no. I’m saying the in in
[33:51] a mindset, right?
[33:53] >> Long haul mindset.
[33:54] >> not want to do this for 10 years,
[33:56] >> Let alone time to commit to it. Because
[33:58] you Yeah, once you’re successful, now
[34:00] this is what you have to do.
[34:01] >> Because it can it the way that
[34:03] >> actually love creating content?
[34:05] >> That’s what Do you love creating
[34:07] content? Do you love talking to your
[34:09] audience? Do you love the good
[34:12] experiments and the bad experiments?
[34:14] Like
[34:15] Like the best thing is like
[34:18] if you get hit, how are you going How
[34:20] How are you going to act,
[34:21] [clears throat]
[34:21] right? How are you going to act when
[34:24] when that
[34:25] when you get the below like 10 views,
[34:29] how are you going to act when that
[34:31] account is still at $10 every single
[34:35] month, how are you going to act? Do you
[34:37] still love it, right?
[34:39] >> Okay.
[34:39] >> And so, that’s why I say in
[34:43] you have to have that long-term thought
[34:45] process of if I could do this for 10
[34:48] years,
[34:49] I’m good. Like this is this is for me,
[34:51] right? Then also being
[34:54] very balanced and or try to be balanced
[34:57] as much as you can with the creative and
[35:00] the business side.
[35:01] >> Did that come naturally for you or
[35:03] >> did not come naturally to me.
[35:04] >> Which one did you have to learn more?
[35:05] Content
[35:05] >> to learn more of the business side
[35:07] because I’m a natural creative. So, the
[35:10] business side was a lesson, but I wish I
[35:12] would have focused on that sooner,
[35:15] right? Um
[35:16] but because I had the side situation,
[35:20] I was able to focus on the creative
[35:23] more.
[35:24] And then when I wanted to be like,
[35:27] “Okay, this is full-time.” Like I I got
[35:29] to get more into the business side. I
[35:31] got to understand the different streams.
[35:33] I got to understand and not the
[35:34] different streams like how typical
[35:37] entrepreneur uh creators talk about of
[35:40] like real estate and yes, cool. I’m
[35:43] talking about my talent. How are we
[35:45] creating multiple streams with just my
[35:47] talent? The what people know me for. So,
[35:52] being open-minded to what are the
[35:57] the from a business side, what are the
[35:58] different streams are we willing to try?
[36:01] Not stay, but just what are we willing
[36:03] to try? Are we willing to do the brand
[36:07] deals? Are we willing to do the
[36:09] affiliate and and broadcast other
[36:11] people’s content other people’s stuff
[36:14] that is not ours? Are we willing to get
[36:16] into the merch side? Are we willing to
[36:17] do courses? Are we willing to do events?
[36:20] Um are we willing to like what are we
[36:22] willing to do?
[36:24] And being open to at least trying it
[36:25] once.
[36:27] And if you don’t like it, that’s okay.
[36:29] Like it’s all about building our like
[36:32] our monetizing creator formula. Like and
[36:36] and understanding that’s going to take a
[36:38] little bit of time. But because I’m
[36:41] trying some things, I’m going to collect
[36:42] a dollar here. I’m going to collect a
[36:44] hundred here. I’m going to collect so
[36:46] the open-mindedness of doing that has to
[36:49] be there. And then probably the last
[36:52] thing I would have to say is if it is
[36:55] not creating any type of fun or
[36:57] happiness
[36:59] after a while, let it go.
[37:00] >> Let it go.
[37:01] >> Let it go.
[37:02] >> If you’re not having joy doing it.
[37:04] >> Have to you have to let it go because
[37:07] the hardest thing to recover from is
[37:09] burnout.
[37:10] >> Mhm.
[37:11] >> The heart like it is
[37:13] >> burnt out?
[37:13] >> I’ve been Yeah, that’s one of the main
[37:15] reasons why I had to stop the the
[37:17] podcast. I was burnt out. I was
[37:19] >> What did that feel like?
[37:21] >> Drained, impossible,
[37:24] um
[37:24] >> Like it felt impossible to film more
[37:26] like in the morning.
[37:26] >> is it was it just wasn’t
[37:29] I didn’t want to come up with the ideas.
[37:31] I it felt more like a routine now.
[37:34] Right? It didn’t When I couldn’t get
[37:36] more ideas, that’s when I knew I was
[37:39] burnt out. Cuz one of the things I I do
[37:41] know that I can come up with an idea in
[37:43] 2.3 seconds. I’m very blessed on that
[37:46] one.
[37:46] Uh but when that stopped, I was like,
[37:50] “Okay, there’s something wrong.”
[37:51] >> Mhm.
[37:51] >> But let’s go through the you know,
[37:52] sometimes you got to push it through,
[37:53] right? Um some but sometimes you don’t
[37:56] need to push it through. Sometimes the
[37:58] signs are really there.
[37:59] >> Mhm.
[38:00] >> Um and
[38:02] you have to take the time to be okay and
[38:04] it’s not a failure. It’s a lesson. Like
[38:07] the podcast was not a failure. We did a
[38:09] hundred and eighty-something episodes.
[38:12] That’s not a failure. We build an
[38:13] audience. That’s not a failure. Right?
[38:15] We had a uh a YouTube channel that hit
[38:18] over 18,000 subscribers. That’s not a
[38:21] failure.
[38:22] It was more of okay, here are the
[38:24] lessons. The season is done. Stop
[38:27] pushing yourself just because you’re
[38:28] like, oh, we got to be consistent. This
[38:31] is finally going to blow up the way that
[38:33] we we see
[38:34] the the comparison drug is a drug that
[38:38] we need to stop taking, okay? It is it
[38:41] is horrible because you look at
[38:43] especially from a podcast standpoint,
[38:45] you look at these podcasts that’s been
[38:46] in the game 6 7 years and then you see
[38:48] them blow up.
[38:49] >> Yeah. [clears throat]
[38:50] >> So, you’re in year three and you’re
[38:51] like, okay.
[38:54] I got three more years and then it’s
[38:55] going to go, but you’re dying inside.
[38:58] Like what was there’s a statistic that
[39:01] most podcasts don’t make it past three
[39:03] three episodes, you know? And and then
[39:06] even a smaller percentage make it to 20.
[39:08] >> Yeah.
[39:09] >> I should be celebrating that I made it
[39:11] to 20.
[39:12] >> For sure.
[39:12] >> I should be celebrating that we made it
[39:14] to 50. If we didn’t do anything more,
[39:17] that’s okay because so many lessons
[39:20] happened from that, but the smarts of a
[39:24] really good creator is understanding
[39:27] when things need to die. That’s the best
[39:30] that’s the best part you need to learn
[39:32] is like when
[39:34] when do we need to let certain brands,
[39:36] certain products, certain services, when
[39:39] do they need to die?
[39:40] >> That’s such good advice for anybody that
[39:42] wants to go part-time or full-time. So
[39:44] many nuggets in there. I do have one
[39:47] additional question for you, but I want
[39:48] you to give a shoutout. Think Media
[39:50] Podcast, of course we’ll link this in
[39:52] the show notes and this is a two-part
[39:53] conversation. The other part’s all about
[39:55] your AI tools, genius workflows. We’ll
[39:58] link to that episode in the show notes,
[39:59] but if people want to follow you, where
[40:00] can they follow you at?
[40:01] >> This is Nikkie’s on all social media
[40:03] platforms, Nikkie Saunders on YouTube.
[40:07] I’m everywhere. I’m literally
[40:09] everywhere. It’s a great it’s a great
[40:10] feeling.
[40:11] >> Final question, like what are some of
[40:14] your feelings of maybe the challenges
[40:16] and opportunities people should consider
[40:19] >> Yeah. in a 2026 world.
[40:21] >> AI
[40:22] >> Yeah.
[40:23] >> algorithms changing, increased
[40:25] competition. I mean, on YouTube, YouTube
[40:27] revealed that 20 million videos are
[40:29] uploaded to YouTube every single day.
[40:31] >> Yeah.
[40:32] >> That feels overwhelming.
[40:33] >> Yes.
[40:34] >> But, you know, in our community, we’re
[40:35] watching our students recently, Sherry,
[40:38] she’s 77. She had zero social media
[40:42] following.
[40:42] >> Okay.
[40:43] >> Across every platform. She had no
[40:44] platforms.
[40:46] She had just a smartphone. And we did a
[40:49] cohort for 5 weeks.
[40:50] >> Mhm.
[40:51] >> She posted her first video at the end of
[40:53] the cohort. She got 37,000 views.
[40:56] Just shot on her iPhone.
[40:57] Now, again, whole process, and it was
[40:59] about actually the passing away of her
[41:02] dog. Tapped into an identity of other
[41:04] people who’ve lost animals and pets.
[41:07] But there’s structure to it, super
[41:08] basic, but like an art form all the way
[41:10] through. But what did it reveal? It
[41:12] revealed that you can start a YouTube
[41:13] channel. This is 4 weeks ago. You can
[41:15] start a YouTube channel right now,
[41:16] >> Wow.
[41:17] >> post your first video,
[41:18] >> Yeah.
[41:18] >> and get 37,000 views. If that’s
[41:21] possible,
[41:21] >> Mhm.
[41:22] >> then it’s not too late to start.
[41:23] >> No.
[41:24] >> But,
[41:25] it competition is fierce. There are
[41:28] challenges. AI’s disrupting everything.
[41:31] I’m curious kind of your
[41:33] perspective for people of what it means
[41:35] to navigate and go forward today,
[41:37] challenges and opportunities.
[41:38] >> Challenge, well, I’ll say opportunity.
[41:41] This is probably the best year
[41:44] to figure out who you are.
[41:46] >> What do you mean?
[41:46] >> Meaning, self-awareness is what’s going
[41:49] to make you stand out in social media,
[41:51] in content creation. The more that you
[41:54] are aware of who you are, your
[41:56] personality, how what makes you stand
[41:59] out, your childhood
[42:02] loves and everything like that,
[42:04] is what’s going to make you stand out
[42:06] from the AI stuff, from all the
[42:09] competition, because they’re running off
[42:11] of a framework and you’re running off of
[42:13] authenticity.
[42:14] >> Mhm. You know? And so, the the thing
[42:17] that even myself this year have tapped
[42:19] into when I talk about I read this book
[42:23] Almanac of Naval, right? And he talked
[42:25] about people tapping more into the
[42:28] things they liked as a child as a child,
[42:30] right? Because it has a pure effect of
[42:34] who we are now.
[42:36] And I had to tap into that of like,
[42:38] okay, what are some the things that I
[42:41] liked as a child that really can stand
[42:44] out in content creation, right? I used
[42:46] to love music videos. So, that breaks
[42:48] down why I love the visuals and the
[42:51] storytelling. I loved computers and and
[42:55] and all of that. That breaks down the
[42:57] educational side of me and always
[42:59] wanting to find out the latest updates
[43:02] and things of that nature.
[43:04] I used to go to camp, so that’s why
[43:06] experiences are so important to me. And
[43:09] me being so aware of that makes me
[43:12] navigate how I create content, how I do
[43:15] the business side more because I’m
[43:17] leaning more in my strengths of what I
[43:19] had instead of oh, that that happened in
[43:21] the past or
[43:23] I’m an introvert, so I don’t even like
[43:25] doing these types of things. But the
[43:26] more that I’m aware of myself, the more
[43:28] that I can relate to people and give
[43:31] them exactly what they want because it’s
[43:33] exactly what I wanted when I was coming
[43:36] up. This is exactly what I did. So, I
[43:39] think even though we have so many tools,
[43:41] we have so much competition and
[43:42] everything like that, the still what is
[43:45] rare is authenticity. And that’s why we
[43:47] hear that so much that people are so
[43:49] sick of hearing it. But because it’s
[43:52] still not like it’s it’s still not
[43:55] tangible. Like not everybody is
[43:57] authentic. Not everybody is consistent
[43:59] and that’s why we continue to hear
[44:01] consistency. But I think if we tap more
[44:03] into who we are, do the personality
[44:06] test, do anything that you can to figure
[44:08] out who you are. You’re going to become
[44:10] a better content creator in a business
[44:11] side.
[44:12] >> That’s really powerful tip at the end
[44:14] there and not just surface level stuff
[44:16] and not just surface level authenticity
[44:17] but really unpacking your childhood,
[44:20] unpacking
[44:22] um those unique things about you,
[44:24] growing in self-awareness, becoming a
[44:26] superpower to supercharge your content
[44:29] strategy. Serious gold, Nikki.
[44:31] >> Thank you.
[44:31] >> Grateful for you and thank you for the
[44:33] podcast.
[44:34] Um like, rate, share, review wherever
